RV Camping Adventure in Downtown Chicago: McCormick Place, Museums, Navy Pier & More!

Join us as we RV camp in the heart of Chicago, parked at McCormick Place! We kick off our adventure by leaving the RV behind and exploring this vibrant city on foot. Our first stop is the scenic Lakefront Trail, where we enjoy views of Lake Michigan. We pass Soldier Field and see some of Chicago’s famous museums, then take a stroll through Grant Park and then visit the iconic CloudGate (aka "The Bean"). From there, we head to Navy Pier, take an incredible architectural cruise on the Chicago River, and savor classic deep-dish pizza at Giordano’s.

To wrap up the day, we walk down Michigan Avenue, soaking in the city, before heading back to our RV at McCormick Place. The next morning, we hop on our bikes for a long, relaxing ride along the Lakefront Trail. Before leaving Chicago, we drive by historic Wrigley Field to see one last iconic spot.
