This is the very first video for my new channel, Dear Valerie: Remembering My Daughter. It's just me, Lindy, Valerie's mother, talking about why I decided to start this channel, what you can expect to see in my upcoming videos, and what I hope we will all get out of watching them.

This is the first time in my life that I've personally experienced such a truly devastating loss, and, as I'm discovering, there's just no way to be prepared. So I'm hoping to find some solace in reliving my memories of my daughter, and also in sharing them with you — I would love for the world to know Valerie, even just a little.
