It was such a mess trying to figure out how to wire this PAC system, and PAC was useless to help. My system is working great, so I'm assuming I did it correctly. Hopefully this helps some of you out.

The PAC ROEM-GM21A module allows you to install an aftermarket stereo receiver and retain the original Bose amp and speaker system. The module acts as an interface between the standard 4 speaker outputs of a new stereo with the 11 speaker sound system in these SUVs.

NOTE: you do NOT have to purchase a separate wiring harness for your install. The front end of this PAC unit IS the wiring harness that plugs into your aftermarket receiver.
