Recently, my family and I had the opportunity to try out PopoJito Med-Mex Kitchen based on a recommendation from a good friend. As a Californian, I consider myself well-versed in Mexican food, and I have to say, Popojito did not disappoint!


One of the highlights of our visit was the street corn. Served in a bowl, it was a delightful and flavorful treat that left us wanting more. Another standout was the queso, which was truly out of this world. The cheesy goodness combined with perfectly seasoned chips made for a heavenly combination.

For our main courses, my husband Edwin raved about the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. The tender and juicy steak paired perfectly with the tangy and herby chimichurri. Amberlin, on the other hand, opted for the classic chicken fingers and fries, which were crispy and satisfying. As for me, I decided to indulge in some shrimp tacos, and they did not disappoint. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the toppings added an extra layer of flavor.


To add some extra spice to our meal, we decided to try the Popojito hot sauces. The staff was incredibly friendly and made great suggestions on which sauces to try based on our preferences. The sauces added an extra kick to our dishes, enhancing the overall experience.

In terms of convenience, there was plenty of parking available, making our visit hassle-free. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying their watermelon margaritas, and boy, were they delicious! The refreshing combination of watermelon and tequila made for the perfect summer drink.


Overall, our experience at Popojito was delightful. The food was top-notch, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was inviting. Whether you're a Mexican food aficionado or simply looking for a fun and delicious dining experience, I highly recommend giving PopoJito Med-Mex Kitchen a try. You won't be disappointed!
