This is film I shot at Cedar Point on a rainy day in May, 1984 using my new Canon AF 310XL-S. It is amazing how much the park has changed since then. There were no new rides for 1984 but the Demon Drop was only a year old. "America's Roller Coast" was celebrating the 100th year of the roller coaster. Cedar Point had six coasters! The Bayern Kurve was still near the train station next to Schwabinchen. The Western Cruise boat ride was much longer as there was no Iron Dragon. Dark rides like "Earthquake" and "Pirate Ride" were still in operation. Many rides have changed, moved or are gone now. This is for all who grew up with and love the Cedar Point that was. Enjoy!
