Punk rock pioneer John Doe began writing his latest record, Fables In A Foreign Land, just as the world was shutting down. From writing songs on the porch of his friend's house to collaborating with many of his friends in the industry, the record was released in 2022. We were lucky enough to catch his folk trio on their west-coast tour and have them record Tomboy Session #25 featuring "Destroying Angels", a track co-written by Exene Cervenka of X and Shirley Manson of Garbage.
