We visited "Cafe Friends" in Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture, for this photo shoot. This popular restaurant is known for its large portions of food. The walls are lined with coffee tickets, and many regulars make it a routine to drink coffee here every morning. At lunchtime, the restaurant is packed with people who are trying to fill up on the super-large portions of the menu. A popular menu item is the pasta with starchy sauce, which comes with four large pieces of fried tofu on top of a huge mound of pasta that almost overflows the large plate. The omelette rice dish is similarly large, almost the size of an adult's face. If you are unable to snack on any of the menu items, you can get a case to take them home At first, the portions were normal, but when the portions were increased more and more to satisfy customers, they became the large portions you see today. It is a very family-like restaurant, as the morning regulars come by every day. Seeing the happy customers enjoying their meals at the restaurant with their full bellies full of delicious food, it was so nice that I wished there was such a restaurant nearby. The food was delicious, and I left feeling like my stomach was about to burst from all the food I had eaten.
