Oberheim comparisons can wait... what's the UBXa like as a synth in itself? Forget the fact it's a modern recreation of the OBXa for now... that's for another video. What are you getting for your money? what's it like to use? what can it do? what does it feel like?

This is a review of the Behringer UBXa on its own terms. Is the synth any good?

I go into some depth on the Atrophy settings - they're essentially an extremely complex and detailed way of adding some vintage character (levels of distress and disintegration) through changing limits, adding drift, setting initial levels of things like the filter, oscillators etc.
