This is well designed and sturdily built wildlife camera with a robust, IP66 weatherproof body, rear loops for attaching a strap to fit onto a post or tree, feet to stand on the ground, tripod socket and a mount is included for fixing to a wall, ceiling, fence, roof or post. The hinge runs along the length and the strong clips are easy to use, even with cold fingers.

Set-up is easy via the highly intuitive menus which offers all the usual wildlife camera options but with some extras such as shutter speed control and higher resolution than other similar cameras I use. This CY70 excels in offering 2.7k video resolution (MP4 format) and up to 24MP still photos both producing both superb photo and video quality. At night footage is captured via infra-red giving clear images, video and audio even when shooting in complete darkness.

We use the camera at home for monitoring overnight wildlife activity where through the year we see foxes, wild rabbits, occasional local cats, hedgehogs (currently in hibernation), field mice and sometimes rats - the perils of living on a rural farm lane! The camera can also have a security role and record any prowlers or intruders. On our meadow we use it to record deer in the woodland, foxes, badgers and sometimes wild boar.

Compared to our other cameras, I noted this CEYOMUR offers an especially long battery life. Used in icy cold weather on combined video and still photo mode, the batteries are lasting at least three times as long - and I'm using rechargeable rather than alkaline making this even more impressive.

This is a great wildlife camera ideal for leaving unattended for short or long periods, performs reliably, produces high quality video and photographs while also offering excellent value for money.

Ceyomur offer a wildlife camera for every user: for the best picture and video quality and longer-term unattended usage via 128GB SD cards, then the CY70 camera offers up to 2.7K video at 30fps in MP4 format. The CY65 camera offers 1296P 30fps video in MP4 format along with the added benefits of Bluetooth and WiFi which allows images to be monitored and downloaded remotely via a phone app without disturbing the camera or retrieving its up-to 128GB SD card. A good all-round low-budget camera is the CY60 with 24MP and video up to 1080P, 15fps in AVI format. For a more basic entry level camera then Ceyomur offer the CY55 20MP, 1080P camera with lower picture quality but the benefit of black LEDs, rather than red, making it ideal for avoiding detection by humans. Please refer to our additional Ceyomur camera reviews on this account. Note: SD cards and batteries are not supplied.
