Kate is a full-time carer for her sister, Sharon, who had a cardiac arrest in 2008. Due to this, Sharon now has hypoxic brain damage, resulting in dysphagia. Kate struggled to prepare meals for Sharon until they discovered apetito's pureed meals which have since made life much easier.
