Skip to 2 minutes to get to the heart of it. Testing to see if the Samsung Induction range seems to have fine heat control, or just cycles full power. This test was done on the largest, highest power burner, with ~4mm of water, in a cheap Target skillet (I think it was $20). It starts out on "power" to come up to a boil, then I change it to various lower settings (see the number in the lower left).
