Greetings from Jeonju! 🤩✨ I'm thrilled to bring you along on a day-trip to the historical and stunning city of Jeonju. Known for its Hanok-style houses, breathtaking landscapes, and mouthwatering bibimbap, Jeonju holds a special place in our hearts. My friends and I embarked on a 1 hour and 20-minute express bus journey from Daejeon to Jeonju to kick off our adventure.

Our first destination was the China Town, followed by a visit to the charming Wanpanbon Culture Center. Next up, we explored the renowned Hanok Village, where traditional houses, springtime vibes, and elegant Hanboks abound. If you're a K-drama enthusiast, you might recognize scenes from "25-21" filmed right here in Jeonju. We couldn't resist visiting the iconic Hanbyeok Tunnel and indulging in the delectable street food offerings. Be sure to sample the famous 10-won coin bread filled with cheese as well as the perfectly seasoned squid. Before returning to the KAIST campus, we leisurely wandered through the bustling Nambu Night Market, sampling grilled meats, Mandus, savory pancakes, and the irresistibly delicious Hotteok.
