This is the Marching Pilots of (Phineas) Banning High School. The BHS campus is in the community of Wilmington, CA. As another Southbay classic between two 4A Los Angeles City Section Division 1 Marine League power house teams takes place in a regular season high school football game at the Long Beach Veterans Stadium in the City of Long Beach, so does the excitement of a traditional match-up between the two high school bands in a halftime showdown.

1993-94 was a year filled with lots of change for the Marching Pilots. First, the Tall Flags section became part of the Drill Team under an auxiliary team -- the largest drill team squad who danced and twirled short and tall flags. Then and among plenty of music played this year, the Pilots came out with their own rendition of The Hey Song, later switched to "Hey, Go Pilots" by the cheer and song leaders, in which all those high schools with a band in the Marine League followed. As ambitious and trend-setting as the Pilots were, they made all performances feel fun, filled with excitement and, with every effort, brought a good show to their audience. Season 93 for Marching Pilots felt like brand new in the look of an auxiliary team.

This halftime show of the Banning Pilots is with the Carson Colts. Under the direction of Mr. James Woodson, the Pilots play the following songs: You and I by Rick James, a school anthem -- Big Red, Louie Louie by The Kingsmen, SHHH With Dre/Dre Day by Dr. Dre, Whoop There It Is/Party People by Tag Team, Brick House/B-House by The Commodores, The Hey Song by Gary Glitter, Glamorous Life by Sheila E, Check Yo'Self by Ice Cube. The drum majors are, if not mistaken, Hyree D (a former Carson Student but don't quote please because not sure and forgot completely, lol) Sean W, and the auxiliary team captains are Toni B, Livier G, and Cynthia W.
