Inspired by the mesmerizing Rara Lake, one of Nepal’s most iconic tourist destinations, this song celebrates the region’s traditional music.

Kuma Sagar’s passion for this project comes from his deep love for the traditional folk tunes of the far-west and Karnali regions. His main interest in creating Rara Talaima was to preserve and highlight the unique musical heritage of these areas, which often goes unrecognized. Known for his dedication to Newari culture, Kuma Sagar has masterfully woven together traditional sounds and instruments from Newari music into Rara Talaima. His work is recognized for preserving the essence of Newari musical heritage, adding a rich cultural layer to this song.
