In this video, I respond to a challenge by Mitch of Native Survival to start a fire with feathers and a ferro rod. As you'll see in this short video, I spend a lot of time getting my first set of feathers started and my second batch of feathers ends in failure.

This is a great lesson for anyone learning bushcraft skills, when it's just you alone in the woods, it's a good idea to have multiple ways to start a fire.
