The process of properly preparing the foundation and underground utilities for a garden space is the key to creating a highly functional garden with minimal long term maintenance and maximum yield. After over 15 years of creating home gardens I’m finally creating my dream garden in my backyard by drawing on everything I’ve learned from previous gardens to create a space that it beautifully, functional, and long lasting. This is a lot of work up front, but it will pay off ten fold in the amount of time, effort, and headaches that often arise when the foundation of a garden space is not properly designed and built from the beginning.
