If you are looking for a simple BACK TO SCHOOL science activity to do with the kids, then look no further! This magic milk science experiment is perfect for you! It amazes the kids every time and it is super easy to do too! Just grab a few supplies and have a blast with magic milk!

You will need:
Milk
Food Coloring
Dish Soap
Cotton swaps/Pipettes
Shallow dish (pie tin, baking dish, etc.)

Instructions:
1. Pour some milk into a flat, shallow dish.
2. Add some drops of food coloring.
3. Dip your cotton swab in the soap or gently drop a very small amount of dish soap over the milk. What happens?
5. Add more color, get a new soapy cotton swab, and keep going!

Science Explanation:
When the soap is added to the milk, the molecules in the soap try to attach to the fat molecules in the milk. We are able to see this reaction thanks to the colors we add to the milk!
