I catched some rainbow trouts yesterday, so I use to show you how I handle the preparation at home with my smoker. 🎣

Instead of smoking fresh fish, you can also freeze them before starting with the soak. This makes the trout firmer and tastes better.🍴

To get the full taste, I suggest you to soak the trout in salt water for a day. Before starting to smoke, make sure that they are not too wet. Feel free to pat them dry with a cloth. To get sure, I also dry them in the smoker for 30 minutes.

After that, you can start with the main part. You can use beechwood logs or beech shavings, the result is the same. After an hour they are golden and an absolutely eye-catcher.💥👀

Main facts of my Ingredients:

5 rainbow trouts
3 l water
0,33 lbs salt
beech shavings
one day of time for the soak
