For 17+ years, I blindly searched for my glasses, peeled dry plastic out of my eyes, and stressed about there being no eye doctors at the end of the world.

In April of this year, I had LASIK eye surgery. This allows me to see without needing glasses or contacts.

After a few months of not having to reach for my glasses when I wake up…it’s safe to say this was one of the best things I’ve done.

All because of a 5-minute surgery.

This was a good reminder to myself that most great things in life sit behind a only a few minutes of difficulty.
