Early one Friday morning in March, we loaded three of our motorbikes into the van in answer to an invitation from our friends, the Tasik Adventure Community. They had managed to wrangle 150 eager riders across six classes of starters in their flat track event, or as they say in Indonesian, Balap Jalur Datar!

It was a damn hard track to ride, all of our boys went down at some point or another. Last time we were here they had failed to make the flat track… flat.

They said they’d done a lot of work on it, they said they'd made it level, after riding it, we think they could have gone even further, this was still not what you would call a level playing field.
