First time climbing Mt. Kanlaon! Finally sharing our climb to the roof of Visayas. Mt. Kanlaon is an active volcano standing 2465 meters above sea level. The largest volcano in the Philippines.

This mountain has been in my bucketlist since i started hiking. I had no opportunity to climb it back then since it’s ever changing status and finally, summiting the beast was worth the wait! It was a BEAUTIFUL experience. We took the Guintubdan Trail for this hike.

I am grateful that i live in the island where it is standing loud and proud!
