Bike Ride to Dima Bridge via Rajabhatkhawa forest from Alipurduar and exploring the beautiful natural beauty at Dima. In this video we shall visit the most popular destination in Alipurduar, Dima river bridge near Rajabhatkhawa forest. This is essintially a Bridge on Dima River situated between Rajabhatkhawa Forest and the village of Garopara on SH 12A , around 18 kms from Alipurduar town. This place is the most visited destination amongst the people of Alipurduar when it comes to short afternoon outings. We started our journey from Alipurduar Junction and went to Rajabhatkhawa Buxa checkpoint and ticketing counter via Buxa Feeder Road, after crossing Damanpur, Rajabhatkhawa forest, and Pampu Basti. during this time I gave some information about the place, and tell the story of the naming of the village of Rajabhatkhawa, along with the history of the Buxa feeder Road. From Buxa Checkpoint, we turned left on SH 12a towards Rajabhatkhawa Railway station, and headed towards Dima Bridge After Crossing the Railway lines at Rajabhatkhawa Rail gate and a second railway crossing at Rajabhatkhawa jungle. There were patches of rain while we were covering this part of the road, and just moments after we reached Dima Bridge the rain started there too. We were already partly drenched and had to take shelter under the Dima bridge till the rain subsided. After that we went up the bridge and got to see a beautiful view of the Dima river with the Jainty hills in the backdrop. the sky cleared up after the rains and we were able to see Lepchakha clearly from over the Dima Bridge.
