This video is because while doing a family property, I was ask by neighbours, why I was doing it and if an amateur could do pointing. My response was; I am doing it because the whole outside brickwork had been painted and the result being the faces of the bricks are blowing, I think because of the face of the bricks freezing. By repointing in lime I am hoping to encourage the bricks to dry quicker after rain, as lime mix does not hold water, is softer than cement and is porous.
