In an effort to explore the capabilities of Mimaki's latest entry-level Vinyl Cutter, we used some card stock to create custom-aperture photo mounts for a 50 x 70cm Photo Frame.

We were able to get the alignment just right in order to create the appearance of a double mount or bevelled edge without the specialist tools.

The card stock was backed with a low-tack application tape to stop the cut-outs from catching or falling out during the cut process and we used the optional Sheet Table Set supplied by Mimaki to run the rigid stock through the pinch rollers.
