Also known as “Murderpan” to locals and others is a dangerous neighborhood in Boston, Ma. Boston has cleaned up its crime compared to the 1980s and 1990s, but this neighborhood has been almost unfazed by gentrification and still abundant in crime. Despite the blight, there is a lot of culture in Mattapan. A lot of Haitians and other various Caribbeans call this hood home. Despite being the poorest neighborhood in Boston also, there is hope in this community of hard class working people.
