Qi Lan Forest trial running begins in September every year. It has 5k, 10k, 25k, 50k, 80k and 100k courses. I participated in a 50k race and It was my first long distance trail running race. Overall experience was wonderful. The trail does not have any technical terrain. It was just an up & down unpaved trial with a lot of little stone and rocks. Most of the sections are covered under trees and forest, made the race very chill.

The 80k and 100k would have a chance visiting a a deep forest site with 3 giant China Fir aka Big 3 Sisters. They are about 70 meters high and 800 years old. The local aboriginal call them "Trees hitting the moon".
