Welcome to another Vectornator video.

Nastya is a jedi in giving dimension and 3-dimensionality to all her illustrations, be it a simply Moka Pot, a retro lava lamp, or a paper cut-out effect.

This illustration was inspired by the infamous "Starry Night" by Van Gogh. If you're an art geek like us, you'll love hearing some interesting facts about the original painting. Van Gogh heralded modern painting’s new embrace of mood, expression, symbol, and sentiment to create "Starry Night." It was inspired by the view from his window at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy, in southern France, where the artist spent twelve months in 1889–90 seeking reprieve from his mental illnesses. And till this day, it's probably one of the most recognizable paintings in the world.

Taking inspiration from the master, Nastya showed homage to the composition but applied a completely different effect: paper cut-outs. Yes, you can add textures in vector design! Find out how!
