This song was recorded in a carnatic classical music concert on 13th November, 2016. It was organized by Mridanga Vidwan Shri M S Parameswaran in Agri Koli Bhavan, Seawoods, Navi Mumbai.

The vocalist is Palghat Dr. R. Ramprasad who carries forward the legacy of an illustrious musical family and was initiated to music by his father Shri T. R. Rajaram. His rendering adheres to the traditional classical style with more emphasis on "neraval". He also holds a PhD in Economics from the university of Georgia.

He was accompanied on Mridangam by one of the senior most Mridangam artist Shri Thrissur C. Narendran. Shri Narendran has the rare honour of accompanying more than five generations of different musicians, from Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar onwards. He is known for his intricate rhythmic patterns, sense of proportion, sharp anticipation, short and carefully thought out silence, and the ability to give the Mridangam the much needed soft touch.

Shri Nagai Sriram accompanied them on violin. He is an A-grade artist of All India Radio. He is a disciple of his uncle Kalaimamani Nagai R. Muralidharan.

Shri Trichy Murali was on Ghatam. He is an A-grade artist of All India Radio. He is a disciple of Kalaimamani Trichy Tayumanvan.

Shri Shaktidharan accompanied them on Morsing. He is a disciple of Late Shri M. Jagdeesh, Shri Krishna Kamath, and Shri Changanassery B. Harikumar.
