After 2 weeks of not being able to get out on the river I managed to squeeze in 2 hours on the roe. Arrived in burnfoot to see the water was low but with limited time available and not wanting to waste it travelling further downstream I made the best of it tying on a small size 12 Faughan copper on the point and a size 14 micro reaper that I’d tied the night before on the dropper. About 10 minutes down the 1st pool and I’d hooked into a fish. 11th September 2023.
