This is my 1948 ( I believe) Elgin Outboard, It's been sitting "stuck" in my garage for a few years, and for who knows how long before that. In this video we try to get the ignition sorted out by replacing the coils and laminate with a mismatch of parts and see if it will run for us.

Eventually, I plan on possibly putting this motor on the back of my Argo to use when crossing bodies of water.
