Title: Honoring Christ In Difficult Times
Verse: Matthew 4:23-24

1. 2 Tim.1: 7
Fear is the battle in our mind. The spirit of fear is not from God because it is the opposite of FAITH.
Ps. 27: 1, Ps. 34: 4

Supporting Verse: Ps. 13: 1- 6

Heb. 13: 4- He never changes.

Faith is the key. Faith is a choice.

Heb. 11: 1- now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

How do we honor God in difficult times?
1. Choose to worship God at all times.
Ps. 34:1

2. Choose to hold fast to the promises of God.
Heb. 10: 23

3. Choose to trust that God's plans are greater and He is in control.
Ps. 9: 10, 56: 3, Isa. 26: 3, Deut. 31: 6, 8

Our God is a sovereign God.

Conclusion:
God allows us to go through difficult times to refine our faith, show His glory and teach us to depend on Him alone.
