関東の桜の名所として有名な埼玉県の幸手権現堂桜堤は、春は桜と菜の花が咲き、梅雨にはアジサイ、冬にはスイセンといった四季折々の花が咲き誇り、訪れる人々を癒してくれます。そしてこの時期は約500万本（サイトによっては300万本）の彼岸花が見頃を迎え権現堂堤の斜面に深紅の絨毯が広がります。また、2024年9月21日(土)～10月6日(日)まで「第17回 曼珠沙華まつり」が開催されています。

今年は夏の酷暑のせいで開花が遅れ、見頃にはまだもう少しかかりそうです。本日は4～5分咲き位になりました。主に中川側の方が咲いています。駐車場側の方はまだほとんど咲いていません。

Satte Gongendo Sakura Tsutsumi in Saitama Prefecture, famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot in the Kanto region, is filled with seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms and rape blossoms in spring, hydrangeas in the rainy season, and daffodils in winter, soothing visitors. During this time of year, about 5 million red spider lilies are in full bloom, spreading a deep crimson carpet over the slopes of Gongendo Tsutsumi. In addition, the 17th Manjushage Festival will be held from Saturday, September 21 to Sunday, October 6, 2024.

This year, the flowers have bloomed late due to the extreme heat of the summer, and it will probably take a little longer to reach their peak. Today, they are about 40 to 50 percent in bloom. They are mainly blooming on the Nakagawa side. The side facing the parking lot has hardly bloomed yet.
