This Summer, our JusticeWorks Team is sharing opportunities to get involved in local social justice efforts, as we prepare to host a series of listening circles in the Fall. We hope to learn more about what our WellSprings community is willing and able to show up for, as we work toward our congregational goal of “showing up for our values, by engaging in community-based justice work through new and existing local partnerships” in the year ahead. Look out for these posts throughout the summer!

Gun violence is one of the issues we aim to provide regular updates on, and with the information provided, to identify ways we all can be involved in living out our values as Unitarian Universalists.

On Saturday, June 11, March for Our Lives organized events throughout the nation to address gun violence, including one at the historic West Chester courthouse. One of the speakers was WellSprings’ own Kathleen Higgins! These are just a portion of her words, that day.
