The full 1959 LP from Lancelot Pinard A.K.A. Sir Lancelot. Born in Cumuto, Trinidad in 1903, Lancelot became an outcast from his wealthy family after defying their wishes for him to study medicine, instead pursuing a musical career in New York's burgeoning calypso scene with included such expatriate exponents as Wilmoth Houdini and The Duke of Iron. After a star turn touring with fellow Trinidadian, composer/bandleader Lionel Belasco, Lancelot was offered a part in the Hollywood film "Two Yanks In Trinidad" (1942) which led to a string of acting and singing appearances throughout the 1940s. Lancelot's career culminated in this 1959 album, now a rare collectors item!
