I'm thinking about adding cool pools to my repertoire along with hot springs.
In this video Nick and I take "the car" to some swimming holes in Wet Beaver Creek for a quick dip. This area is a much shorter walk than the popular Bell Trail and just upstream from Beaver Creek Campground. On Google Maps search Forest Service Rd 618H, Rimrock, Arizona. There are two pullouts on the dirt road. This area is crowded on summer weekends, but can be empty on weekdays and the rest of the year.
