At the end of July, we left Germany when it was 36 degrees and flew two and a half weeks to Helsinki, Finland during the summer vacation. We only knew one architect in Helsinki, Alvar Aalto, but we were able to experience his great design, which is now used everywhere, and the Finnish culture. We had planned a building and a café per day and spent two weeks relaxing time.

As soon as we came back in Germany, it was gray and windy, so somehow colder in the morning and in the evening. That was really good timing vacation to do!
