Out of the blue, GS introduced the GS Storm RTR as their first RC car back in 2000 or 2001.
It was a pretty robust 4-wheel drive buggy with a conventional layuot.
Over the years, GS produced a good number of on- and offroad RC cars, with the Storm CLX Pro, designed by Claude Lachat, as their top of the line model.
The quality of the cars were outstanding and many of the parts were manufactured in-house. At one point they were as innovative and reliable as the top brands and GS was even successful in racing.
Unfortunately, the curtain fell quietly for GS around 2010.

I purchased this buggy back in 2001 and had a lot of fun with it.
The stock GS engine was replaced with a Picco P3, a very cheap but potent and reliable engine. No inlet restriction, do it's rather thirsty.
The electronics have been replaced with Futaba servos and 2.4 gHz receiver.
Since the buggy was on the heavy side, i replaced the aluminium servo holder, front support plate, front upper suspension holder and steering plate with home made carbon fiber parts.
I also made some lighter and more flexible front and rear chassis braces.
The front and rear upper arm turnbuckles, aswell as the steering connecting rod turnbuckles have been replaced with HoBao titanium ones.
The original, and very noisy exhaust has been replaced with a cheap Chinese one.
I made aluminium servo plate supports to replace the plastic ones and replaced a lot of screws and bolts with titanium ones.
The wheels, shocks and shocktowers have been replaced with GS Storm Pro parts.
Front, center and rear differentials are sealed and filled with respectively 5.000, 7.000 and 3.000 weight oil.
The clutch is a 4-shoe JVD with a vented clutchbell.
It's weight is now a respectable 3,526 kg with fuel.
