By pressing the "ARM" key on the remote control the alarm will start detectiong after 45 seconds. When the PIR sensor detects movement, the detector will give you 30 seconds to deactivate the alarm. After 30 second, if the alarm has not been deactivated, the 120dB alarm siren will start to go off. The alarm will continue to go off for 30 seconds and then recheck the environment. If then a movement is detected, the alarm will sound again. This cycle repeats itself until the device is disabled with the remote control. Alternatively, you can select the chime function directly from the remote control. Now, if motion is detected, the chime sounds immediately and without delay.
As a third function, there is the panic mode. If you press the "ARM" and "DISARM" buttons for 2 seconds on the remote control the alarm will automatically sound off.
