Video Recorded on March 22, 2023: Sadly, the Montgomery elevators are officially gone now. :( You can see the ones in the south bank have already completed its modernization whereas the ones in the north bank are in the process of modernization. While I didn't like the mod much, but what really fascinated me the most is the historic looking penthouse! I absolutely LOVE the elevator hoistway door designs, recently replaced CJ Anderson call station, and an old historic half-clock floor indicator. Definitely the best design at University Of Houston Downtown! Couldn't help myself than to do a little urban exploring just to make up the boring elevators that they are now. Security was very nice to let me film and get this amazing video but was kindly asked not to be on the top floor as it's mainly closed. Installed in 1993, being modernized in 2022-2023.
