Reviewing Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6 bendy phone one month later, after extensive camera testing, gaming, battery life scrutiny etc. If you're after a massive foldable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is certainly one of the best known options. But it's no longer top dog, with the OnePlus Open, Vivo X3 Fold Pro and other big rivals. Not to mention Google's incoming Pixel 9 Pro Fold!

Camera fans will find the Galaxy Z Fold 6 doesn't have Samsung's best optics slapped on, despite that high asking price. It can't compare to the S24 Ultra for night shots and video, although for most other situations this foldable is worthy. Battery life is another area where the Samsung Z Fold 6 doesn't hold up to rivals, and recharging is sadly slow as well.

Still, the performance here is more than good enough for gaming, even for hours at a time. Zenless Zone Zero ran well on top graphics settings, with vapor chamber cooling to keep it from getting toasty. And the everyday One UI experience is pretty good, if not as lovely as the OnePlus Open, Pixel 9 Pro Fold etc.
