In this tutorial, I show you the basic steps for practicing tapestry crochet in the round, in a spiral, with split single crochet (also called crochet knit stitch), this will allow you to add color-work to your crochet projects. This is another variation of tapestry crochet technique, that will make stitches line up straighter, one over the other and it will also create a denser fabric. If you have never tried tapestry, I suggest you start with another of my tutorials using this technique, I consider this a more complex variation.

Work a small sample to practice split single crochet first, then, carry and wrap an additional color and finally, make color changes to form a pattern. Turn on the English (not the automatic) subtitles if you feel my pronunciation is not very clear.
