Ballinagh (Irish: Beal Atha na nEach) is a village in County Cavan on the N55 midlands route. Translated from its Irish name we get "Mouth of the Ford of the Steed" from when Queen Meabh and her men traveled through long ago on their way to battle for the Brown Bull of Cooley.
