पावनखिंडीतील लढाई १३ जुलै, १६६० रोजी विशाळगडाजवळील असलेल्या घोडखिंडीतील निकराची लढाई होती. छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज यांचे सेनापती बाजी प्रभू देशपांडे आणि आदिलशाही सरदार सिद्दी मसूद यांच्या सैन्यांत झालेल्या या लढाईत मराठ्यांचे बरेचसे सैनिक मारले गेले परंतु त्यांनी सिद्दी मसूदला खिंडीत थोपवून धरल्यामुळे शिवाजी महाराजांना तेथून निसटून विशाळगडावर जाण्यास वेळ मिळाला
Battle of Pävankhind was a rearguard last stand that took place on 13 July 1660, at a mountain pass in the vicinity of fort Vishalgad, near the city of Kolhapur with the Maratha warrior Baji Prabhu Deshpande and Sambhu Singh Jadhav against Siddi Masud of the Bijapur Sultanate.
