An accomplished restaurateur in New York City and Columbia, S.C., Sarah Simmons is revolutionizing the traditional restaurant model. Simmons is the CEO of CITY GRIT Hospitality Group, a business dedicated to ending poverty and increasing food access to those most in need. Her ventures are developing tomorrow’s workforce, providing work for the homeless community and supporting summer feeding programs. For Simmons, the community is her customer. Sarah Simmons is a renowned chef who works in her local community to eradicate poverty and hunger. Her mission is to Feed the City, through her restaurants and beyond, in order to strengthen the community and contribute to the local economy.
