Ever since I built my high-band QMX, it's been unusable for CW due to a strong 'thunk' at the end of every CW dit and dah. Frustrating, but I had faith that Hans of QRP Labs would figure out a clever firmware fix. Well, I'm happy to report... he's done it! Version 18 of the QMX firmware works like a champ, and bans the 'thunk'.
Audio in this video is recorded straight out of the QMX using a Y-splitter, so what you hear is what I was hearing in my 'cans'.
