In the ever expanding search for jazz vibraphone related content that is actually helpful and informative, I thought I'd try something now (to me at least) a Q&A video. Thank you to all of you who submitted questions! I welcome more questions about practicing #jazz #vibraphone or #improvisation - or my cats.... that's fine too.

I answered questions about comping with 2 mallets, how I adjust to comping with fender rhodes, guitar, or piano, who my favorite vibraphonists are, when I started playing, what was the MOST useful thing I ever practiced, what was the LEAST useful thing I ever practiced, when to use chord inversions, how classical percussionists can approach learning jazz vibraphone, and still more. Plus, you will find out how many cats I own and what their names are! Riveting! :)

Of course, my answers to these questions are simply drawn from my own experience - I learn in my own special way, as does everyone else. I hope that you find these to be helpful - I put some thought into the answers because I wanted it to be sincere and helpful, but at the same time I tried not to go off on too many tangents. I guess you can be the judge.

Any further depth you would like regarding some of these questions we can gladly talk about in the comments below! Thank you for watching and listening, and hopefully subscribing.
