Horsetail Falls (4 miles; 1391 elevation gain) in El Dorado National Forest, California. This is a very popular hike, so arrive early. There's a parking fee of $8 to do this trail and a day permit form you need to fill out near the start of the trail. There are campsites further down the main highway if you are interested. You can go further up the trail to reach a mountain lake (not shown in the video). Approximately one hour West, you'll find great wineries in El Dorado County, and to the North East is Lake Tahoe.
