After 10 months, I finally finished the conversion of my 1962 10 foot aluminum rowboat into a modern, decked bass boat. In this video I put on the final details and slide her back in to the lake. Converting an aluminum boat to a bass boat is not as easy as it might seem. And I think a 10 foot boat is at the very limit of "too small" for this conversion. But all that being said, I love my new bass boat! All the work and expense was worth it, especially, if you enjoy this kind of design and build project. My one big tip is: don't build it under an oak tree or 20, like I did. Unless, you like cleaning out oak leaves and dealing with the sap.
