Konkoba is the first rhythm Mamady improvises on, traditionally is meant to be played for farmers.
This rhythm is traditionally played in Siguiri, Kouroussa, Mandiana and Kankan regions at this pace, not too fast. In Faranah it is played at a faster pace like in the ballets.
