Museo Galileo - Session 2/4
September 26, 2024
2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The Symposium on Causality will be hosted at the Museo Galileo on September 26 and 27. The international conference is organized by the Dipartimento di Statistica, Informatica e Applicazioni of the University of Florence in collaboration with the Harvard Data Science Initiative and the European University Institute. It is one of the several events planned to celebrate the first centenary of the University of Florence.

Scholars from European and US universities and research centres will give their contributions on the relationship between data science and scientific method, with a special focus on causality and causal inference.

The Symposium consists of four roundtables and four keynote lectures, the first of which will be given by the 2021 Nobel Laureate for Economy, Guido Imbens.

Attendance in presence is by invitation only; online attendance is free of charge upon registration here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FA...
